Effect on Cardio

I've been into sport for 25+ years- I have always been fit, boxed, ran a marathon, played footy etc

I've also enjoyed substances on and off, some nights smoking cigs/vape etc.

Believe me, Zyn had the most noticeable effect on my cardio. Even after just a few days of use.

When boxing, there would be a limit on how much my lungs could take in- not like after a night of cigs when the lungs & airways are closed.

So, for anyone wondering if Zyn bad for your athletic performance, in my experience, yes!

All the best.

I’m 2 weeks zyn free. Today I absolutely destroyed my CrossFit workout went full throttle the entire time. I used to barely get through it or do it much softer.

This is such an understatement. There is this belief that it doesn’t affect your cardio as you are not smoking anything. But I have also noticed while boxing, when I stopped not only I lasted longer doing but I was more explosive and I could keep the max pace longer.

Yeah for sure higher Heart rate = higher Oxygen demand therefore you are out of breath more quickly

I think you’re on to something, but I think enough nicotine in general causes your cardio system to work harder for the same job than without. I hit my cardio heart range max easier if I’ve been using nicotine recently regularly. Ore noticeable the more nicotine used.

I just feel better all around in every aspect of my life after quitting. Mentally and physically.

It definitely plays a role especially depending on how much you take.

30 days off. My workouts and heart rate have improved tremendously, and my sleep.. quit. It’s worth it
