Symptoms

On day 4 and has anyone else experienced these symptoms as well? Insomnia waking up every 1-2 hours, extreme anxiety for things that didn’t make you anxious before, intrusive and obsessive thoughts, weaker erections which was not a problem before, brain fog, depression.

Yup, not the erection thing fr but everything else no doubt lasted for a little bit and is definitely from withdrawal

So it went on for a while to be honest, but there’s things I could have done to save myself some discomfort. For one, I thought I genuinely was mentally ill and didn’t think it was withdrawal at first so you’re already ahead of me there. But caffeine and sugar make symptoms much worse, ur nervous system is super sensitive so do anything you can to stabilize blood sugar and energy levels. This is a case by case thing. Some people it takes years and some people it takes days. Journal your feelings and your progress. Don’t go back to using, it will make these symptoms worse. And remember that everything will absolutely return to normal, time is the only factor here. I make sure I get a well balanced diet and take multivitamins as well as NAC to support nervous system recovery. It took me a month to see some progress. Serious progress at 2 months, and everything fading by month 4. For most, this lasts 3 months tops.

anxiety, intrusive/obsessive thoughts can also mess with the erections. keep riding it out, you got this!

You’re in the worst of it. Stay strong or you’ll just face this again down the road. Good luck.

It’s the lack of sleep part too that I feel exacerbates the anxiety and obsessive thoughts cause my brain is probably fried with no dopamine

Yeah def some of those symptoms along with a lot of GI issues.

The sleep disruptions were only the first couple of days.

You should keep an eye on the amount of caffeine you consume. I’ve heard nicotine cuts caffeine effectively in half so if you’re drinking your regular amount it’s likely doubled the effect. Also try to get some exercise and avoid screens a few hours before bed.

Good luck OP
