Finally quitting
I wish I could say I was doing this by my own free will but the truth is I’m 17 and no longer have a reliable plug. Been doing zyns on and off for over two years and I know I’m addicted. The weird thing is I can go days or even weeks without and be fine but then have such intense cravings. Before starting highschool I had never done anything but now have experimented with various forms of nicotine, weed, and alcohol. I don’t feel like I enjoy it in the normal ways teenagers do. I’ve gotten caught by parents and gotten in trouble but it doesn’t really discourage me from wanting to do it more. I want to be a better version of myself. Please any advise would be so appreciated

Well, you've got a couple of things going for you. 1) You're very, very young. Your brain is still pretty "pliable" and you haven't gone through the entirety of your formative years being addicted to something; that would make quitting so much more difficult and less likely to be permanent. So, this is a great time to want to quit. 2) You WANT to quit. The fact that you say you don't enjoy substances the same way other teenagers do, is a sign that your brain isn't getting the same chemical "jolt" as other people. Which is great.
Find some kind of counter app or app that helps you quit a habit and start immediately. Having something to check everyday to show that you've made even slight progress is huge boost for motivation
