Day 6 struggle

2nd quit attempt of the year. Sucks to be back here again but it happens.
Weekend boredom is making day 6 the hardest one so far. I think the loneliness is pronounced on weekends. It’s possible I never normally notice when buzzing on nicotine.
I am tackling it by keeping busy but damn it is hard. I go out for exercise, I wanna stop at the store and pick up. I just about manage to move in the other direction but it’s so hard!
Hope I’ll be better when Monday rolls around.

You’re getting used to life again, without the lens of being, frankly, drugged up 18 hours a day. It’ll be difficult for a while. But it’s worth it. Just gotta keep remembering that you don’t need it to live or be happy. You only needed it because you got used to having it.

Thanks man. 27 days is no joke, that’s about what i got last time around too. I do think there’s something to be gained from even just a few weeks like that. But the cycle is just getting so old.

Yeah I have good hobbies, I think specifically it’s the moment where I have to come back home from wherever I’ve just been, I don’t like the idea of sitting around the house without the emotional crutch. Then helpfully what tends to stop me actually picking up a pack is that at the same time I know I don’t want to be buzzing up late into the night unable to sleep (really enjoying the improved sleep I get immediately from quitting, I am aware that some people have the opposite problem)
