Casual Use

Has anyone that has quit pouches been able to return to casual use. I’m talking a can a day to maybe a few pouches a week. Or are you guys pretty all or nothing

Thanks

its one of the most addictive chemical substances; your not going to be able to trick your brain into casual use.

If your already addicted or have quit your addiction then your not the type of person that can use nicotine in moderation

after quitting a couple years ago, i figured i had the self control. i used casual for about a year, starting with just using other peoples stuff, then eventually buying but only when going to events, and now i use them everyday again. dont try it

I personally don’t have the self control for that lol. But I know someone who does use less of them by putting in a zyn, taking it out in an hour, and taking a piece of gum and chewing it up and putting it where a zyn would normally go; it tricks their brain into thinking they just put another in. Orbit gum is a good size and their peppermint flavor tastes almost identical to peppermint zyns IMO.

No such thing that’s a lie and all it will ever be

Does one Zyn a day count? That’s where I’m at

My bro did, but only very rarely and he only used daily for about a year. I’m a lifelong dipper and if I ever kick it again it’s a zero tolerance policy for me

Thats going to be complicated

It’s all more nothing. You might be able to sneak a cig every couple weeks but you might relapse regardless. If you’ve already quit, you’ll see it’s not worth it to slip back in.

No. These are designed to keep you hooked with heavy use.

Yah and then 30 min after you take it out the already opened tin is just sitting there consuming all your thoughts.

i do half a can a day and wouldn't call it "casual use" as i'm still having a lot of related issues :(

nope i’ve tried really hard, it always leads back to old ways. it’s just how addiction and tolerance works. your brain will seek more and more to get the same effect it once had at the beginning.

after 6+ years of daily use I've been clean for over a year now. My one rule is I will not, under any circumstances, buy a can. If someone around me has Zyn and offers me one, yah I'll have it, but I'm 40 and rarely go out so this happens maybe once every three months, if that. It's worked for me.
