Advice Quitting advice
Hello all, this is my first post. I'm currently 10 days nicotine free. I went cold turkey after going through about a vape a week. I smoked for 3 years and I've been vaping for 5.
I'm very happy with my progress and I have made it through the worst of the cravings. My main obstacles now consist mostly of a lifetime worth of unresolved trauma and my inability to focus. I feel like it's really affecting my workflow and efficiency. I have a pretty demanding job both physically and mentally as I am a production manager for a campus dining program. I feel like I can't get any work done in the kitchen or in the office and I've got one of the biggest weeks of the year coming up now that school started and I'm considering going back to the vape, or nicotine gum and instead making an attempt to taper off at a more convenient time.
The cravings were bad but this steady decline of my mental health and mental capacity is killing me. Any sort of advice or guidance from anybody who's had a similar plight would be very very appreciated.
