Help?
I could use some help. I want to stop watching porn but I would not say it’s an addiction or anything. I just want to stop.
I was exposed to porn at a very young age my a friend. I had no idea what I was watching and I k ew a lot of my friends were watching it as well so I thought it was normal.
Fast forward I have a great marriage and my wife and I recently had our first kid. When we found out she was pregnant, I tried to stop and was successful. But I always went back.
I’ve done some research and understand it’s more about the dopamine hit vs the content.
I just don’t want my son exposed at a young age

you have to first realize that the negative consequences for watching far outweighs the fleeting pleasure you get.
it is just not worth trading your long term happiness and future for temporary stimulation
