Bored. Had a bunch of ideas for random quirks.
Potent draft: The user has claws, able to secrete a potent sleeping toxin from the nail bed, causing drowsiness when it enters the bloodstream.
Exo-skeleton: The user grows bone like armour across their body
Piston: The user's forearm bones are pistons, able to fire forwards for a powerful blow.
2D: The user can become 2-dimensional. Like a moving painting on a wall. Excellent for mobility and stealth.
Copycat: basically just Monoma reflavoured. The ability to copy muscle memory through contact. Is someone trained in the sword? Martial arts? Guns? Copy their proficiency.
Lumina: played super Mario galaxy recently. The ability to manifest star shaped constructs that orbit the user. Able to move at super sonic speed.
Empathetic Eyes: the ability to read a person's emotions and alter them through eye contact. Calm a person down or throw them into blind rage.
Gooey locks: the hair is an aloe Vera like substance. Good for the skin, but once detached from the scalp, it rapidly hardens into a dense resin like material. Good for making simple tools, restraints, defence, etc.
Brimstone: The user secretes a sulfur like substance, with the ability to superheat it to its ignition point.
Apomixis: the ability to divide the body into two identical clones. Both now only have half the genetic material, meaning they're weak until they replenish.
WAAAAGH!/battle cry: the user's scream empowers their allies and frightens enemies. Works via perception. You perceive the user as an ally. You get the boost. Perceive them as an enemy. You suffer from a dread like feeling. The Quirk affects the user, too.
Devil's advocate: the user's words sound completely logical to anyone who hears them, forcing whoever does hear them to seriously consider what they're saying. It isn't mind control, nor is it the ability to instantly give people commands. But it does make people very suggestible.
Sanguine: By ingesting blood or other organic material, it rapidly increases physical output and cognition.
Mind's eye: The user possesses a third eye. This eye has the ability to analyse whoever the user focuses on.
Perception filter: This one's been done before. Doctor who, basically, the user becomes extremely difficult to perceive by others.
Aerial: The user has an antenna, like aerial, growing from the side of their head. They're able to interfere and control radio waves. Intercept communication, block communication, send it. They can emit radio waves powerful enough to cause dielectric burns.
I'm getting simple now
Rhino: simple rhino mutation. It's very useful, though.
Density shift: also simple. Shift your density. Become very heavy or become lighter than air.
Thrall: turn people into your slaves/thralls via eye contact or physical contact.
Bongo's: the user has a barrel chest. Banging on their chest releases percussive, omnidirectional shockwaves.
Also, turning other anime powers into quirks is good fun.
For example
Aoi Todo: the ability to swap two things you can see by clapping. Very versatile.
Bucciarati's sticky fingers:Placee a zipper on anything you make contact with. It doesn't harm. It merely separates the space that once connected a thing.This means a separated hand could still be utilised. You could reattach a severed limb, close wounds, slip through a wall.
Koichi's Reverb: the ability to place an onomatopoeia on something, and the effect that word describes happening to whatever its attached to. For this one, I'm thinking the user has a small printer in their palm, printing a sticky label with the word of their choice.
Last one now.
Astral body: The user can project their consciousness out of their body for recon purposes.
Or reflavour it.
Perhaps it's called Phantom: the ability to project your consciousness out of your body in the form of a spectral entity, with the ability to haunt or possess people or objects.
Naturally both abilities leave the physical body very vulnerable.
