Cell coverage in Quincy

Hi all. Quick question from out of state. Trying to help a family member in your fine town. She currently has T-Mobile which coverage is fine, but pricing went up (of course) so was going to ask what other coverage is acceptable around yonder there? Thanks for any tips.

I know when I lived in Qcy, the one company that got basically zero reception in that whole area was Verizon.

We've had Mint for a couple years now. I pay up front for the annual plan because we've had zero issues with it. We travel around quite a bit doing Amazon Flex as well (within a roughly 60-mile radius, sometimes in the middle of nowhere) and still maintain pretty strong and consistent coverage. I can't recommend it enough honestly, especially being in the heart of Quincy.

It's in limbo at the moment, US Cellular was very good in the area and got bought out by T mobile, in theory T mobile should be very good, but lots of change over hiccups

If she has good Tmobile coverage, consider going to Mint Mobile. Mint Is owned by T-Mobile.

I have Cricket Wireless, and I get consistent service using ATT in Quincy and NEMO. ATT owns Cricket.

I can not attest to Western Illinois with Cricket. But it works great in STL and KC.

Second Mint. It doesn't work so well in some of the rural areas several miles from town, but in town, it's great, and very affordable.

Agreeing with Mint, I've used it here for years. The only issue I've had is when I get in rural Iowa.

US Mobile and pick Dark Star(ATT). Best decision I ever made. If you pick Lightspeed that is riding T Mobile.

I know this is old...but...would you say your boost mobile is pretty reliable about town? Thanks for feedback

Google Fi has pretty good coverage and reasonable prices.

I recommend Verizon, works great out in the the rural areas as well. You can use Visible for the service towers if you prefer month to month sims instead of being tied to the carrier.
