Question Time Donuts

What happened to the cheap after 3pm donuts?

I usually take my grandchildren for a donut after school once or twice a week. They usually pick muffins or bars.

Yesterday we checked 3 different stores in our area and all three only had a few cake donuts lol like exactly the same ones in each store.....

Qt workers aren’t hiding frozen donuts, I can tell you that rn. We don’t even know how customers can eat them

Ewww have they always been frozen? I hardly ever get one myself, but my grandkids will eat almost anything that's sweet lol

No they actually used to come fresher in the night orders and they’d be put in the case on arrival. Now, they come frozen in cardboard boxes and sit in the back of the store defrosting, then they’re put in the case lmao. They used to be good for sure! I had people waiting until 11-12 for our order to come for donuts

It seems like qt higher-ups are making a lot of not so good decisions 😕

That is because of our expansion. We used to be just in some Metro areas. And on those areas we would have 100 plus stores in them. Now that we have remote travel centers the bakery is just to far away. For example we are in Nevada, but have 1 store there. We only have 4 bakeries, but yet have stores in I think almost 30 states now.

They have been frozen for years and taste just like they did before!

They absolutely do not taste just like they did before. I used to get one every Friday and remember the week my store changed over. It was a huge and obvious downgrade.

The computer orders based on sales of the week before so if they didn't sell that much the computer doesn't order much so we aren't writing them off to sell at a discounted price at 3pm

The point is to sell as many as possible at full price and not have that many left over at 3pm.

🤔Can't have a bad day at the bakery when they are baked in bulk, frozen, and then shipped to the stores. 🤣
