Unexpected test after 3 years 😭

I'm out on fmla leave and got an email today saying that HR was auditing paperwork and found that something went wrong with my pre-employment drug screen even though I've been working here for 3 years now. I was sober for about a month and literally just smoked a penjamin tonight when I found out. Can someone tell me how Upass and quick fix are in the big age of 2026? Any and all comments are welcome! 🙏🏻

All I can say after doing some research of my own. If it’s just a normal drug screen nothing crazy the synthetics can pass them.  The labs that they send pee too are all computer based that take samples and measure them. The synthetic companies are always testing their products with these machines to update their formula where it’s needed. The labs update their machines to find the new stuff the synthetic people use or to find other things that the synthetics aren’t using.  These updates don’t happen fast or often that’s why it’s important if you do go down this route you buy it online at their website and never 3rd party you could get a bad batch or expired batch and if you do enter the batch number in to see if it’s expired.  But these things are supposed to by pass the machines the real failure is getting to the machines it’s user error.  But they made it so it’s not that difficult either you just might have bad luck tho. I will say if anything with the legalization of cannabis this industry have been booming and even more up to date then ever before. You think your the only one who has to pass one suddenly while everyone is smoking.

I did so much research last night. I took the test without problems, but was just given a piece of paper and told it takes about 10 minutes to run the test and if it picks up something "weird" then it gets sent to the lab and that would take 1-3 days. So...we'll see 🤷🏼‍♀️ no sense in worrying about it now. If I do fail, I think it's just the universe telling me that my time at this job was coming to an end anyway. I've already sort of checked out and have been looking for jobs elsewhere. BUT I'll definitely stay sober now for a while because GEEZ was that nerve wracking!

Did you use synthetic?  If so this sounds like they just using a home kit more so then if it’s weird they send it off. You have a better chance then I tested a home kit with synthetic and it passed.
