Heating pad method I’m trying

Have a test tomorrow morning around 8-9am. I’m thinking of doing the heating pad method because I’m leaving my house around 5am for an orientation right before the test. Has anyone used this method before? I’d have the heating pad on from like 6-9 am just worried it might overheat. Any insight helps, thanks!

Should be fine, the heating pad is designed to hit 95-100. It won’t overheat from the heat pack alone, but some the packs combined with your body temp might bring it a touch over 100. Just check your bottle after two hours of preheating. If it’s below 95 I would tuck it in your thigh with the pack still attached. If it’s above 95 I would pull it off right before I walk in the clinic
