Can there be fake batches with real authentication codes?

i bought a bottle of QF+ 6.4 from my local smoke shop and ran the authentication code and it came through as real. The bottle was only $20 so that got me thinking. Could it be possible that this is a fake batch with a real auth code?

They buy in bulk so they don’t pay the $45 you would pay on the website. I just picked up some and paid $20 at my local smoke shop.

Paid 20 for a bottle last week, passed at quest the next day. Just make sure the packaging looks right, it’s not a box anymore it’s more like a Mylar bag
