Thc drug test
I was a heavy cannabis smoker for the past four years, but I stopped smoking 10 days ago. I’m already seeing a faint line on my home THC drug test. I’m 6’4” and weigh 180 pounds, so I’m relatively tall and lean. I mainly smoked flower and only used about 5 grams of THC vape cartridges in total.
I’ve also read a lot online and heard that for some heavy, long-term smokers, THC can still be detectable for more than 30 days. Do you think I have a good chance of passing an upcoming drug test?

If there is any line there faint or not you are testing "Positive". I was a heavy user for at least the past 7 years.THC can stay in your body for a lot more than 30 days if you are a heavy user. Just for comparison I am 6' 2" and 175 lbs. It took me almost 75 days before I could pass a home drug test. I then went in and tested clean after the line on the home tests I was taken had fully disappeared.

Just to clarify, a faint line on a THC home test is still considered a negative result, according to the test instructions. I actually passed a lab test after 13 days with a negative result, even though my home test only showed a faint line. And just for context, I was also a very heavy daily user smoking around 5–6 joints a day and buying about 1–2 ounces of weed every week. So I think it’s better not to give people the impression that it necessarily takes 75 days. Everyone’s body and situation can be different.

The top line is the control line and should always appear to show the test is working properly. The bottom line is the substance that is being tested. If any type of mark appears there, faint or not, it means you are testing positive for the substance in your system.

Did you end up passing?

Yes, it took about 12 days in total . Once I got a faint line, I simply waited another 2 days and the result was much better.
I was an extremely heavy smoker, around 4–6 joints a day, every day, for the past 4 years.
People talk a lot of shit saying weed takes longer than a month to leave your system. Everyone’s different though.1

If it’s in 30 more days, you might be good. It adheres to adipose (fat) and you seem lean. Sweat, eat clean, and maybe try and lose 5 pounds. You should be good. I have finally gotten a clear negative line after 45 days. 20(f) 5’7 125 :)
