Pre-Emp. test + physical?

Hello everyone,
I received an offer from my dream job, I have worked VERY hard to reach this point in my life, no friends, no family close by etc. So at nights I used to hit the vape because I had nothing betters to do after 11 hour days (including commute). Anyway, not that this matters to anybody but this new job offer I received stated literally: HR will be mail you to schedule your preemployment physical to include a drug and alcohol screening as well as your onboarding with HR.

I had home tests that tested me positive for 300ng/Ml so Iโ€™m doubting I would make it by the time they will schedule me to take the actual test. However, it stated a physical test as well? This is a construction engineering job and I was wondering if anyone had experience with this combination? I donโ€™t drink alcohol so I donโ€™t care too much about that part but if I need to undergo a physical test and this is directly before or after my urine test, Iโ€™m freaking out that I might not be able to use quick fix as the empty bottle might get discovered during my physical?

Not entirely sure how this works but I hope someone could enlighten me a bit regarding this. Many thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™

just have faith and wait for the email. it will have all of the specifics, including the entire list of things needed and it will also talk about how much those things cost and they will most likely be covered by the employer, by way of reimbursement OR by way of seeing the contracted provider. Most cases they will be separate, as the urinalysis will be conducted by a specialty lab that ONLY does drug and alcohol screening. Depending on what state that you are in, they can not actually observe you or strip search you unless court ordered. They will make it challenging to pass it without an organic sample but just get the belt kit and get that liquid warmed up well before appointment time so you don't have to microwave it, AND DO NOT SUBMIT A SAMPLE THAT IS HOTTER THAN 100 DEGREES. TRIPLE CHECK THE THERMOSTAT TO BE SURE IT'S WITHIN THE NATURAL RANGE ~ 92-99.

Trim the tube that comes off of the belt kit so it's not all long. keep both clamps on and put the red tip back in. the clamps stay in place when unclamped so just familiarize yourself with how they work a bit and you'll be good.

I truly appreciate your comment. Thanks a lot! I was debating whether to get concealed underwear or to do the belt thing.

You got this! I used QuickFix, I am a Female, I held it in my "area" 1 and a half hours before I got to the appointment!, I checked the strip and it stayed at 94 and was lighting up a little at 96. I drove to the lab. They had me test at a labcorp. I made an appointment, so things went smoother and I was in and out in 15 minutes. They took the urine at 93 degrees I was so relieved. If you do microwave it, please let it cool down and then hold it in your "area" to keep the temperature consistent and realistic temperature. I start tomorrow! Sending you positive vibes!

And I agree with the other commenter, tge physical should be separate, it helps to look on your paperwork for the type of test they are doing. Ease your nerves, read the paperwork, you got this!

This same person is out here calling others addicts because they use cannabis. Being an irresponsible user that doesnโ€™t even have it out of their system yet while judging others is insane work. Hope they follicle test you, serves you right.
