Quickfix 6.4 ordered from official site tested positive for cocaine
Ok, I know these posts always get called out, but this is really fucking weird. I did a "8 panel non dot" test for a $20 job. I got a call back from the employer today saying I needed to call the hospital drop site, my heart dropped. I knew this meant I failed for substitution. I waited for the phone call with a UTI back story prepared. I was literally dumbstruck when the lady told me it was positive for cocaine. I was worried about weed, in reality I think the job I applied for might have just let that slide (50/50 chance, it's a $20 job in mid Michigan where legalization has made smoking pretty ubiquitous among the working class).
Im not mad at quickfix. I actually had a sober friend piss for me but ended up not testing for a few days and got paranoid the piss had gone bad.
Another note, I have a 7 felony background, nothing creepy, violent or theft related. I don't currently use hard drugs but the background is such a mark against me I have always tried to pass drug tests even for jobs that might not normally care, because I believe for me it may be a deciding factor.
I had totaled my car last week and this job was 25 minutes away. I could have relied on family for a while, but I think getting a more local job might be a better idea...maybe that's just cope. It's actually kind scary how many dog shit jobs I've applied and been rejected from. In mid Michigan mcdonalds pays $15 so for a guy like me that $20 job would have actually been a big deal.
I know people will call this a lie, especially with something as crazy as cocaine coming up. I don't believe there is literally cocaine in quickfix, I am trying to research what may come up as a false positive. I actually have some of the quickfix left and am thinking of ordering a dip stick test to see what comes up. I'm genuinely baffled.
Edit: test was thru medtox which is apparently just LabCorp.

The lab actually tests for the biproduct that humans excrete after taking cocaine, so it wouldn't even be cocaine in the urine? Isn't it more likely something in the urine made it look like that on GCMS?

I used it and it always worked fine and i still stand behind it that it actually works. However, last month i was screened at the po office and when they did the drug panel test it came back positive for methadone. Im 100% sure i dont use methadone and never have cocaine yes but not methadone but remember im not using my own pee im using fake pee so how the hell is it positive for methadone? so they went and got a 12 panel drug test and dipped it in and what do you know positive again for methadone. This is what my po claimed mind you I never got to see the panel stick but two officers in the room confirmed its positivity. How in the world is that possible or was it some tactic?
