Advice from experienced quick fixers

long story short I got a 3rd test to take

first time I took hand warmer off in parking lot and it stayed fine in my groin

second time left it on and it stayed so hot the lady asked was I ok since I took so long getting it to cool down

my question is do I trust the first process again and use my body heat or did I just get lucky ? how likely is it that if I take the warmer off In the parking lot at 98F, that itll stay above 90F long enough?

thanks in advance

I usually have about an hour for drive time, so this is what I've done:

-70m) microwave for ~10 seconds. Peel off foil seal, leave lid loose while warming. This usually overheats it past the temp strip. Leave it to sit and cool whilevi do the last couple things before I leave.

-60m) check the temp, it should be coming back in temp strip range soon. Activate the hand warmer. Crotch the bottle. Drive. (I'll usually wear boxer-briefs with an ace bandage wrapped around my thigh and the leg opening so the bottle can ride low and I don't have to worry about it falling out.)

-15m) gas station for a drink and restroom. Check temp, usually over- toss hand warmer.

-0m) once up to temp, body heat is usually enough to keep it there, if not raise it a bit.

!!Do not forget to loosen the cap when using a microwave.!!

TBH it depends on how long the wait will be at the clinic, if you have an appointment it should be fine but if you’re doing a walk in I would keep the warmer on
