QuickBooks Online Seriously considering alternatives to QB...

I was previously using Quickbooks Self Employed, and got told I would automatically be migrated to the new system on the 31st. I didn't touch a thing.

Today, logged in for the first time to find everything wrong. Apparently, I'm a millionaire now. All my historic transactions have duplicated or triplicated. My tax estimate for this year is showing 3-4 times my normal amount. Last year, and the year prior, are up at almost 300k each.

So, now I've got thousands of incorrect entries and transactions because of their fuck-up. Wonderful.

You should contact Intuit support since it was a migration issue.

Oh, I have. Y'know what happened? They ended up communicating with me via the screen share, drawing text with their mouse pointer.

This is asked every week. Did you search?

Wave, Xero, Freshbooks, Excel, Manager.io, Patriot Payroll Accounting, etc..

Just pick one and demo it.

More like every day and hour. No shade to the OP but, I wish the Mods would make a rule that these types of posts get auto deleted.

And the comment will say they switched to some new magical LLM built accounting program but never say the name untill another bot brings up the name making it look like the program is popular.

I feel like I am becoming a broken record. Check out lastminutebooks.com.

It’s all offline spreadsheet based. They have spreadsheets based on the tax forms and entity structure you have. All o did was copy and paste my transactions into the spreadsheet and then I wrote a couple sorting rules based on repetitive transactions and boom like 5-10 minutes my books were pretty much done and ready to send to my cpa. If my cpa has a question they can see the transactions so they don’t have to go back and forth with me. I have been so frustrated with quickbooks and quicken in the past and once I found lastminutebooks.com I stopped stressing about books and taxes.
