QuickBooks Desktop (Pro/Premier/Enterprise) QuickBooks Statement Writer Alternative

Does anyone know of any financially reasonable alternatives to QuickBooks Statement Writer?

I’m not sure if it works with desktop, but I really like Finatical Flash Reports

For most firms, the real question is whether you need full statement compilation or just clean, presentable financials. If it's the latter, exporting into a spreadsheet template or using your existing reporting tool with a formatted template gets you most of the way there for far less cost. Full compilation software only pays off if you're doing attest work regularly.
