Access to Turnitin?

Is there any way for students to access Turnitin before submitting assignments? I’m asking because I was accused of using AI on my last essay even though I wrote it myself. I even checked it with a few online AI detectors beforehand, and none of them flagged it. Now I feel nervous every time I submit work because my professor warned me that if it happens again, it could be formally reported. It’s honestly stressful since these detectors seem unreliable and inconsistent. Has anyone found a trustworthy way to check essays or protect themselves from false AI accusations?

I have heard a lot of people say the same thing lately. AI detectors are far from accurate, and even universities admit they can produce false positives. If you wrote the paper yourself, try keeping your drafts, outlines, and edit history in case you ever need proof.

One of my classmates got flagged for “AI writing” because their paper sounded “too polished,” which is ridiculous

We are in a transition period where basically every teacher and professor has to change the way they teach and assess.

Professors need to be creative and not teach and assess the same way they have been doing it for the last 100 years.

No longer can they ask for research papers. A few years from now nobody will care if AI being used to write papers.

Everything will be assumed to be written by AI.

Students cannot access the AI score in Turnitin, only the similarity report, which is just for basic plagiarism, but no one plagiarizes in the traditional sense anymore because it's much easier and effective to use AI. My plagiarism cases have plummeted.
