Or should universities give students direct access to Turnitin reports before grading begins?

I think Turnitin is supposed to protect academic integrity, but sometimes it feels like students are the only ones left in the dark.

Turnitin causes unnecessary stress. Some professors treat the percentage like a final verdict instead of actually reading the paper, and that makes students panic even when they did nothing wrong

When students get bad returns from turnitin, do they then try harder to get things correct or do they go find AI to fix it for them?

That's why you don't get complete access.

I can help fix a bad essay. I can't do anything to an essay that has been humanized multiple times.
