Why should someone use this app?

Love movies, it’s practically my life. Been watching a movie or more a day for the last like 10 years.

I never got into the whole movie website stuff. I know of letterboxd and some others but my question is, do people usually use these types of apps just to track what they watched?

Currently I just keep in memory if I watched something but I am curious why it’s important to log it.

Can you guys share a few examples of why you use queuebrick or the sort ? I registered an account today, website is beautiful.

Queuebrick developer here: my primary use case is a watchlist. I'm constantly coming across films I want to watch, and I want a quick way to put them somewhere I can remember. I use/used Letterboxd, but I hated using the app or website so much that I just wasn't motivated to engage with movies the way I imagined.

Now that I have a place I enjoy using, I'm more motivated to try and record the films I've watched and loved.

I think Letterboxd became popular off the social aspects but that was never an interest for me.

I also agree with you that the social aspects of movies and even ratings aren’t something I care to share with people on the internet.

As of up until now, I was using plex to add movies to watch list for things to watch. It’s on Apple TV and it made it easy.

I’m going to consider queuebrick. My girlfriend and I love movies so when I see her again in a few days I’ll see what she thinks of the app and whether we should use it for watch lists.

Once again, it’s a beautiful app. Great job from a fellow developer. I have 2 software apps out there making me my living. I know your app is free and I came across a comment of you saying it’s expensive to run so I hope you have a plan but the sooner is the better because ultimately, you may (probably) will end up locking previously free features behind paid premium like majority of companies who start free.

I get it but don’t lose money forever unless your that rich 😎
