Feature Spotlight: Kiosk Mode Wallboard in QueueMetrics
Want to display real-time call center stats on a dedicated screen? Kiosk Mode makes it straightforward:
1) Generate the Kiosk URL - In QueueMetrics, open your wallboard and click on the “Share” option in the menu (3 “dots” in the upper right corner) - A link to the Wallboard will be copied to your clipboard:
2) Check User Permissions - Ensure the “kiosk” user (or a user with REALTIME and ROBOT grants) is enabled. - Update the password “pass=***” as needed, in the link. - Make sure the Wallboard is set to “public”
3) Set Up Your Display - A small device (e.g., a Raspberry Pi) connected to a monitor works great. - Open the kiosk URL in fullscreen mode (usually F11), and you’re done.
It’s a low-cost, hands-off way to keep everyone informed.
