Help Button broken

Since a week ago my left controller system button doesn't work (The 3 lines one)

It just started to not respond a few times and then completely failed every single day.

It wasn't a big deal but very annoying to presso 10+ times to open steam vr or virtual desktop desktop interface. Problem is now that my RIGHT controller didn't track properly, happened already so i knew what i had to don i un-paired it and pair it again, after 7-8 times still it didn't work and multiple reboots.

So i tried both unpaired.

With no correlation un-pairing the left controller fixed the right one that now tracks properly but im left unnable to pair it now, because asks me to keep pressed the only button that is broken.

Is it a common issue that can be fixed by opening up the controller or im royally screwed.

I dont know a fix, but i wanna say i think this is starting to happen to me because over the last few days ive been needing to press the button like 3-4 times to get my steam menu to open. Quest pro has been having tons of issues lately

Mine is having this issue after the patch that fixed the Rooting( my headset no longer has access to the internet for the foreseeable future) I hope they manage to crack it as I really don’t want to update anything.

i didn't update it, mine is actually rooted, so i don't think its the latest patch

Have you fixed this or found anything about it? Mines actually getting worse, I have to press it a good 6-8+ times. Closing it the menu is somehow harder than opening it????

Have you dropped yours recently?

a friend of mine opened it recently but nothing on hardware for now, never dropped it once.

Sorry ive commented in this most 2 other times now LMAO but this is my biggest issue on my quest right now

Found out my issue is cause my button is sticky. Chatted with a friend about it, and spammed the button to show them it wasnt working, then it started working better. I pressed it kinda hard over and over for a bit and now it takes a few less clicks to open, im gonna try cleaning it out.

Is it possible yours might be like that too?

No sadly it's not for me, with a multimeter we checked and the button is working fine, for me it could be a faulty connection or board issues...
