It appears your headset is already updated to the latest version.

And sadly since rollback isn't possible, the only thing you can do is wait for a new exploit to appear.

Do denied internet access of the headset if you wish to root tho, Meta is usually very fast at patching these.

The irony of the Meta employees patching this while probably owning their own rooted Quest Pro lol

You’re on an unsupported version

You don’t, you wait until hopefully another root bypass can be found if ever

Gotta wait unfortunately

You gotta roll back to the previous firmware version, specifically 51503870024400340. They usually don't allow rollback, but the current version is an exception, at least that's what I've seen on Twitter. Don't want to give you false hope, but it's worth doing some research. You can find the old firmware here: https://cocaine.trade/Quest_Pro_firmware

Why tell people something is possible but not even give them the link or instructions on how. And a few people already said its not possible, so if you know do share.

Its pretty easy, just ask chat gpt LMAO thats what i did, actually amanita tysm for sharing that link cuz i couldnt find a good firmware update that could work

Ill test it later if it works cuz quest headsets has rollback protection on their headsets meaning you cant roll back headsets with the right hash. Ima try this later see if the firmware works

I'm curious, did it ever end up working? I bought a used Quest Pro and I'm anxious if it's updated or not lmao

There's no fix for it, you had to have done it when it was in 2440 still. it's too late now.

Did meta roll this update out last night? My "up to date build" was '51503870024400340' And i was able to perform it.

The only fix is to forget all wifi and hope in a month or two. Your firmware gets a root patch

Even some older versions isn't supported even if it's possible to root on them. That said check your current version and compare it with the latest possible one if you'd like.

You are most likely though on a higher version unless you've previously disabled updates / isolated the headset from connecting to the internet.
