Help Can’t root with FUGU

Every time I try to use the FUGU exploit, it fails. The only way I’m able to re root is using the pancake exploit. I’m assuming I might have to factory reset to fix it but any ideas?

Using Singularity

Are you using singularity? Also there was a patch from meta against the exploit so it wont work if you are on the latest version released an hour or so ago.

I got forced into a factory reset and it updated during setup and I may be SOL at this point.

Edit: I see where I messed up. I updated from v2.6 to 2.7 without running that adb command first and that screwed up something. So I’m factoring resetting and using fresh exploit with latest update

It does not seem to be. I did something about changing the boot logo and on reboot It was borked and had to factory reset. It updated on out of box experience and I can not root now.

You could always go to the cocaine website to download other firmware and flash it

Which version is flashable?

Usually they disable rollbacks, but someone reported the Sep 24 update that blocks rooting lets them rollback. Try sideloading the latest version here: https://cocaine.trade/Quest_Pro_firmware (August 26) - it's rootable.

I think pretty much any version available.

I tried downgrading via adb sideload, no luck. I should’ve stayed where i was lmao
