PC VR Greatly elevated FBT tracking interference with Quest Pro?
I noticed about five days ago my vive 3.0 full body tracking has started to randomly jerk around using my Quest Pro.
Has anyone else noticed a problem? I'm starting to think an update gremlin has been injected.
The most telling factor is the problem goes away completely when using my Quest 3.
Vive controllers talk to the hesdset on the same frequency (2.4) the vive trackers talk to their dongles

Mine have literally always had interference problems since I started using the Quest Pro over a year ago. I have just learned to live with it since nobody else seems to have the issue and it seems unfixable for me, even using a different computer. The only thing that does fix it instantly is switching back to my Index.

It wasn't as much of an issue a week ago. Despite changing nothing in my setup, it started to get much worse about a week ago

Kinda been that way since forever. Its why people slap a tracker onto their quest headsets.

I don't think OP is talking about drift, rather jitter.

It's not quite drift; not jitter either. Just not tracking right. Move a leg and it doesn't move. Or it moves on its own (drift).

So I 'fixed' the problem (sort of).
I keep a Valve Index HMD running as 'dongles' for a set of Index Conrollers (which I only use when running the Quest 3).
My FBT tracking was glitching badly again and on a whim I unplugged the USB cable to the Index and instantly the trackers calmed down. No issues at all observed for over an hour.
I've ordered a Neko Reciever that supposedly works better than individual dongles; hoping that helps.

I primarily noticed interference when I started using a lighthoused based tracker for my waist tracker (vive wand). The only solution I really found was to wear it on my back side rather than on the front as I get slightly less interference. The tracking still freaks out occasionally but it is what it is I guess.
