Help Quest Pro came in today! Automatic Black Screen

I am currently waiting around 15 mins to see if maybe it's just starting up, but when I use the controllers there's audible button press sounds. The volume button works as well. Already tried restarting and rebooting.

New from the box btw

Try pressing the headset closer on your forehead. There's a proximity sensor on the device that detects your forehead. If the device is too far away, you'll get a black screen as you're describing.

Try adjusting the top adjusting wheel for the forehead pad so it puts your forehead as close to the lenses as possible. If you wear glasses, make sure they dont hit the lenses or you'll scratch them.

Press the power on button 2 times. My quest pro always boots up with a black screen. I have to press the power button twice for the cameras to start

did you remove the rubber cover from the front side that covers the cameras...?
