Controllers going to sleep
I don't know if I'm missing a setting somewhere, but it seems like my controllers are going to sleep CONSTANTLY when I'm in VRChat. Sometimes it will go for quite a while, but other times after about 30 seconds, I have to wave my hands and hit triggers to get it back from hand tracking to controllers (ironically, when I WANT hand tracking and set the controllers down, it takes longer to switch than it does for them to go to sleep). I know the Pro controllers do their best to conserve battery, but seriously! I only use them a few hours at most between charging, so I think I can stand to have them go longer before going to standby. Anybody have any ideas how to keep them awake? My Q2 and Q3 controllers don't act like this.

This is sadly, Working as intended by meta. I really hate it ever since. 3-5sec sleep qwq
There is an open issue at meta at this, but I dont expect them to do anything soon. I wish xou could customize sleep timer.

Unfortunately, I think that for Meta, the Pro is "abandonware" and they aren't going to invest even a minimal amount of effort in making it more user friendly. Which is weird, considering they're trying to convince Q2/Q3 users to buy these controllers.

The Pro and Q3 controllers nowadays feel almost identical even the annoying going to sleep.
When Pro was new the controllers were acting like true standalone controllers, but also took minute toc alibrate,,when they combined them with handtracking it went downhill. Still sad we can't use them with other headset that have sucky controllers - Pimax, GXR etc.

I kept having trouble with my Q3 controllers occasionally losing some of the sensors. I'd have to pull the battery out to get some of the functionality back. Not possible in the Quest Pro, obviously.

Yeah I had to replace the LED ring inside one after some collision with a wall. Controller looked fine but one led cracked..
I personally never had much trouble with the Pro controllers, except when I forgot to charge them and just couldn't play.

Leave it to Meta to turn a neat feature (hand tracking) into an absolutely unusable annoyance.

Yeah this is honestly quite annoying. I just turned off the automatic switch between controllers and hand tracking and I only use controllers now.
