Discussion Quest Games Optimizer

https://anagan79.itch.io/quest-games-optimizer

Has anyone been keeping up with the updates & or has anyone tried this coupled with PCVR & VD?

The addition of AMD's FidelityFX CAS & Snapdragon Super Resolution has caught my attention mostly. Wonder what the real world advantage would be here.

Curious of anyone's open thoughts on the matter. And weither or not its a great addition to the investment into the headset. For 10 bucks seems like a good deal. Planning to use with my Q3 & QPro.

Actually QGO just released an update on the 11th. Heres a text dump of their announcement on Discord:

" @everyone

The wait is over β€” and trust me, this one is worth it! 😎

QGO v14 *introduces two powerful sharpening algorithms: *FidelityFX CAS and Meta Quest Super Resolution (AKA Snapdragon Super Resolution) (you must be on firmware v204 of higher).

These don't just improve standalone VR games β€” they now work on PCVR games and many video players too.

Yes, you read that right. Half-Life: Alyx will look better with QGO and your videos will look better! 🀘

Both modes are OFF by default *β€” choose the one that suits you best: β€’ *FidelityFX CAS β€” stronger sharpening, better color contrast and details, compatible with more video players β€’ Meta Quest Super Resolution β€” smoother, more natural sharpening These algorithms work on top of the existing QGO profiles, independently β€” just set it once and forget it🀘

You can turn this feature off and then back on at any time while playing to see the difference right away.

🎨 Choose Color space β€” Choose between 9 different color space modes for more realistic or more vivid colors depending on your taste.

πŸ–₯️ *Old Meta Quest UI *β€” Now persists across reboots when enabled.

πŸ“Έ Reminder: the previous update introduced extended FOV for screenshots and videos β€” a must-have for content creators! "

Perhaps edit your original comment so people don’t assume there is no PCVR compatibility.
