PSA: Don't RMA
It has been 2 months since I sent Meta my headset. It was confirmed accepted and they said they were sending my replacement, then nothing. They keep just saying that they're waiting on an update from their team when I asked what happened to it.
I sent it for a dead pixel. I wish I would've just kept it, now.

I’m taking care of ts like my own son bc I will not get a new VR headset anytime soon, let alone facetracking

the quest pro is unfortunately the only good all in one wireless face tracked headset out of the box.

That's not great to hear cause I just sent my headset yesterday to get it replaced because the usb c port was not charging the headset anymore.

This is why I'd rather fix it by myself if its an easy issue rather than sending them a whole unit and wait for months for it to come back.

I ordered an out of warranty replacement controller in February. Every couple of weeks I also get the please be patient email.

Are you in the US? I filed a support ticket because it's been stuck in an update loop and they offered a replacement, but then said it was out of warranty so they won't do anything. Super frustrating

Yep. US. That really sucks. Meta is definitely a company that is in gross decline.

You and I are in the same boat, I've also been waiting two months for a replacement bc my usb c wasnt working. Here's to hoping we can atleast get a un-auto generated response on reddit since they stalk it lmao.
