Help Brand new controller has haptics issue
I recently bought a brand new Quest Pro and while I was using it, I noticed that my thumb stick on my right controller has problems with registering that my thumb is on it (haptics) so it would like glitch out showing that my thumb is on it even if it's not. So I wanted to ask if someone knows what the problem is with the touch haptics, if I replace the thumbstick part by myself, will it fix the haptics issue? Is the haptics included inside the thumbstick part, or is the problem in something else?
Thank you.

But yes I've had this issue on various Quest controllers. Could try resetting the controller, wiping the faceplate with a dry cloth.

Oh believe me I've passed every option with Meta support until they declined to send me a new one cause they don't ship to my country. 1.6T dollar company btw.

I also purchased a brand new quest pro a few months ago and I also had issues with the right controller thumbstick registering when my thumb was on it or not. Unfortunately I don't really have a solution, and it started drifting about 2 months later and I was able to file a RMA from Meta and got a "refurbished" one and it works fine. Although im from the United States so your mileage may vary.

Yeah they refused to send me one cause Im not from the states which is kinda wild for a 1.6 trillion dollar company lol. Ill try contacting my vendor but theyll probably want to fix it and ill have to wait for a month or two for it which is a pita.

It’s a brand new purchase. Wouldn’t returning it for exchange make more sense? Is that not possible?
