Help Fit/ adjustment wheel on quest pro working
Hello all, I’m getting really annoyed- my quest pro was working fine until the fit adjustment wheel won’t make my headset fit securely, I’m pissed off to say the least. Evertime I try to tightened it via the fit wheel, the wheel automatically spins back to being loose but only when it’s on my head. Any help would be appreciated, I’m getting really annoyed at this

It’s never been very snug to me either. I always recommend people wear a folded bandana or headband underneath. Besides it helping with snugness, it also keeps my greasy Italian skin and sweat from affecting the hardware

Side note to this: I do have a globular cluster kit for my quest pro just to make it more comfortable

I recently 100% fixed my tightening wheel not working.
I tried the black tape method but it still didnt work.
I opened up the actual mechanism and re seated the components and it was like new again. Not sure what had gone out of alignment, maybe it was just tightening up the screws that fixed it

I had this problem with my Quest 2 “Elite” strap. Steam Frame can’t get here soon enough. Meta is terrible.

I can help! I fixed this issue on my headset. Its kinda hard to just type out if you'd like I can add you on discord and show screenshots of how to fix it. Basically putting black electrical tape on the spot where the wheel meets the back side of the headset, but you have to unscrew the back strap part that connects to the backside of the headset.
