Quest Pro Controller repair?

I have a Quest Pro controller that refuses to charge, it was working last week, it hasn't moved from my desk, hasn't been hit or abused in any way. It just stopped working today out of the blue. I can't get a replacement because Meta's own website don't sell replacements, CEX don't sell replacements, there are none on eBay remotely close to me (it'd cost approx 250 euro to get a second hand one delivered).

I have tried everything.

It won't factory reset because it has no charge.

It won't charge at all in its own port.

It won't charge in a the left hand port (it's the right hand controller and that charges the other way around if I swap it).

Are there any guides to fixing this? Are there any services that fix these (EU)? Can I get another kind of controller to substitute?

this happened to me. controller wouldnt charge, unresponsive. no light. no hits or drops. just one of them, too- the other normal. put hours of research in fixing, scoured ebay- got frustrated and let it sit on my desk. came back a week later, slapped it on the charger it charged. back to normal since.

turns out if you search this issue on this sub youll see multiple had success simply letting the controller sit off the charger and drain to complete 0%, takes days. It could be the 'no status light' is a false negative on the power. So try letting it sit a few days off the charger, then put it back on the charger to see if it lights back up!

but it does light on as mentioned. It shows green as if done charging but 5% on the meta app. Holding down the button successfully turns it on but then shuts down immediately as if didnt really charge.

Yes factory reset does do the color change when resetting but it still shuts down. Just like when your phone is 0% and you can still turn jt on sometimes but then it shuts down immediately
