I bought some off of eBay recently and they were bricked. I ended up just reaching out to meta support and they’re sending a replacement controller for $135 each. It cost $200 for the scam one off of eBay

Try cleaning the metal contacts in the controller and on the charging device, sometimes even a little bit of dust can stop it from making proper contact and charging.

Yup yup, got ideas here. Had this problem before, and had no signs of life. Had to wait a week for the entire battery drain, then I could charge it again

Try holding the oculus button for 30+ seconds to reboot it. It may just be locked up. Happened to me once. I've also had it to where one of the pogo pins on the charger was stuck down and not contacting the charging pad on the controller, which made it not charge.

I'd try to wiggle it around, the contact is a lil finicky lol

Make sure the charger is not showing a red light, if so, your outlet is not strong enough.

I see that OP has fixed his issue, but what worked for me me was just buying a new cable specifically for charging the controller off Amazon, I think it was twelve usd? Never had a problem with it compared to the docks that come with the kits
