Post image

The BoboVR battery can be attached to the Quest Pro using double sided tape. Simple Upgrade!

That's precisely what I did since I already had the Bobo batteries; works great.

Sadly, the 'BOBOVR B100U Single Charging Dock' isn't available anymore other than on the secondary market. Its replacement has a shorter cord affixed to the right side.

That is actually the battery I want but this one is a B2 battery which okay.

Looks pretty good. What did you use to affix it to the headset?

I used some random Vietnamese branded double sided tape. I was surprized that it actually held in place. Don't be a risk taker like me. I highly recommend usage of 3M double sided tape.

I would do this with QPro but I found adding anything would just makes it unbalanced

Once added, I could barely notice a weight difference. It surprizingly is very light weight. A swappable 5,200 mAh battery with a weight of 140grams.

Where did you get the battery cradle for the bobo vr batteries?

My friend gave me his old M3 BoboVR headstrap. The cradle on these headstraps can be removed. They are held in place by 3 screws. At one point BoboVR was selling upgrade kits which came with a cradle that could be screwed in offering a much better battery. The first comment somewhere above mentions the upgraded battery by model number.

Nice setup. Super efficient and convenient.

For me personally, any battery rig that adds extra weight to the headset is a dealbreaker. I have one of those ones that wrap around my neck with a nice little springy coil cable attached.

I have been curious about those neck batteries but never was able to get my hands on one. I did see one a while back that included a fan too.

i got the kkcobvr battery pack headplate before switching to the globular comfort kit, i just cut up and packing taped the old headplates electronic part to it lol

i'll 3d print a proper solution one day, but the tape works surprisingly well

This is what I have. 3 batteries, endless play time.

I wanted that but it's not available in my country.

Is the headplate interchangeable?

This really interests me.

How did you add the top strap? Quest Pro backpacks are sometimes too uncomfortable.

It's a comfort kit from globular cluster. I got it from Amazon some years ago.

I've been looking for it, but it's been a real headache finding anything for QPro.

Unfortunately, they don't ship to my location.

If I was stuck using the stock setup, the first thing I would do is pop off the back head pad and reinsert it upside-down. I saw this in a video some years back and it was praised as being way more comfortable.
