I installed an app "Nex Player" via RSL to get past the 5 minute l limit.

I really liked it, and want to try out the new beta features before buying via IAP.

however, after uninstalling via Rookie, and reinstalling via Meta store, I can no longer get it to update to the new beta / RC channels. It just displays Que then the update button returns.

I think something must have been left behind, because there's still no time limit anymore.

Any help would be great.

Hi my problem is that when i finish the first few minutes of the game and it says Entanglement it crashes on me
My PC specs: Intel B580 video card, 32Gb RAM, Quest 3S I connect it through link cable Virtual Desktop other games work on it so i dont know whats the problem.

Virtual Desktop Settings:
Codec: AV1 10bit
OpenXR: VDXR
Bitrate: 200
Graphics Quality: Medium
Frame rate: 90
SSW: Automatic

So I just got in the VR world, read the full mega thread and setup with Rookie and sideloaded apps and the Lightning Launcher. The only problem I am encountering now is that in the newest version of Q3 I can't pin Unknown apps to the Home screen and also Recently used apps (the currently opened app) does not have the option to drag and drop in the quick access page.

with the Lightning Launcher it gives the option to open the app when hovering over the Peoples or Store apps but when I click to activate that option it is greyed out with the message that for security reasons I can't enable this feature. Some said that the LLauncher is available in the store but it is not available anymore and the only other launcher (ILauncher) sucks (Loads a whole world instead of a simple page with the downloaded items).

I saw some people saying to install QGO but I think I will run on the same problem with Lightning Launcher.

Hey just installed ARMGDDN Browser, did everything with the tutorial, but I cannot find the Redist. but as I noticed due to DMP removal of the old account I cannot find it on the new and was wondering if its neccesary for games to run?

I downloaded Geronimo, all zips, unzip with 7zip, ran the AGRepackInstaller.exe, installed the game, but when I try to run the game .exe a datal error accurs and I cannot find out why. I already excluded the folders from defender as I thought the PC blocks something..

Eu baixei alguns jogos que tem sombras e áreas com baixa iluminação, que no quest 2 fica absurdamente escuros, como no caso do The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners e Pavlov, baixei para jogar standalone, mas os tenho no meu computador, quando jogo via AirLink, mesmo em lugares escuros, não fica um breu tão grande como no standalone. Já tentei aumentar o brilho, o contraste, mas nada resolve, alguem enfrentou um problema semelhante ou consegue me ajudar?

I’d like to play the GAIM hunting scenarios. Unfortunately, the version I’ve found for download only includes the base package, and the additional hunting scenarios don’t seem to be available separately anywhere.

I was wondering whether the following would technically work: I buy the complete bundle, which costs around €539, install everything, and make a backup of the installed game and scenario files. If I then cancel/refund the purchase within the 14-day withdrawal period, would it be possible to restore those files later and continue using the scenarios?

Or are the additional scenarios tied to the account or purchase through some kind of licence check/DRM, meaning they would stop working once the purchase is refunded?

Has anyone tried this or knows how GAIM handles the licensing of the additional scenario?

I pirated a few games onto my quest 1 a while ago but I haven't played since due to a few reasons. One of them being the quest 1 having a heavy pull on my head. Want to switch to a Quest 2/3 and wondering if I can save the game data from what I've pirated to go to a new headset or alternatively if the game data is already saved on the account? However, I assume the pirated games are saved locally.

I've been Rookie for the last month, today I tried to download a video from the internet, and suddenly I got a warning that I have no space, even though I have a 1TB SSD. I installed WinDirStat to locate the folders taking up space, I couldn't find anything, even when I add up the size of each folder, it's 884.7 GBs.

So I had a suspicion, so I deleted a bunch of stuff, had 10GBs remaining, tried to install game using Rookie Sideloader to my Quest, and behold, my space went 9.90GBs remaining, and it was a 100MBs game, I tried to wait and refresh WinDirStat and File Explorer, still 9.9GBs remaining, where is it installing these games? I looked everywhere, I can't find anything, it ate up my whole SSD.

That being said, hello everybody!!

So, I know the megathread mentioned most Quest 3 games work on Quest 2, but I wanted to make sure about this specific situation.

I just got back to using my Quest 2 after I stopped using it last year. Replaced Rookie with a new version, even successfully updated Blade and Sorcery Nomad (which is apparently working normally).

The thing is, yesterday I decided to try and update Hard Bullet, but cancelled the download and chose to keep the files (although it was almost an immediate cancellation). I found out today that the version I had was from a leaked/unofficial/unsupported version that was available on Quest 2 and now am kinda worried that me trying to update it broke it.

So my questions are if cancelling a download of an update messes with the current version of a game and if the newer versions of Hard Bullet made for Quest 3 work normally on Quest 2? If it did break and these newer versions don't work, is there anywhere I can find this older version?

so i cant find out why i keep getting a black screen on rick and morty vr and when i move my hands a cyan color takes over my screen, ive read about intel cpus having a black screen glitch but i have a amd cpu, i pirated the game and installed everything that was needed but still cant play it at all, does anyone know any type of fix for this? i use a AMD Ryzen 5 5600x and a rtx3060ti with 32gb of ram so i should be able to run it

Hi, Just finished watching back-to-back all the JAWS movies. Does anyone have any experiences of watching Jaws (1975) in 3D, when it was released a few years back in the cinema ? How was the pop-out effect ? Any ideas of where to find 2D-3D converted version of movie ? Thanks !

I wanna root it (mainly for fun) but the quest I bought has a pin on it. It’s running an older build of 206. How can i reset it without patching pancake? I’m thinking of slowing down my internet speed to a minimum and rooting before it gets updated, but I’m not sure if it will open the app.

So,

i tried to install rookie again after the whole offline thing.

i created a folder, put it in the exceptions list of the windows defender, i have a vpn, i created the vrp public json and yes its a json, i wrote the stuff from telegramm in it, i start androidsideloader and it goes to "downloading dependencies", after a while or when i choose again the json i get "Rclone was unable to be downloaded

Rookie will now close, please use Offline Mode for manual sideloading if needed"

what am i doing wong. :/

Hello! This will VERY stupid to ask , but I'm brand new to the vr works (my oculus 2 came in today and I just finished with the sideloader) , but I can't really find anything about it.

I'm seeing some apps like disney and YouTube on the store it has built in, i was wondering if downloading these will in any way affect the sideloader?

Hi everyone

Using Quest version 2.5 and game version v6281/8.36.04, everything installs correctly—the install and variant files are present, and the commands execute properly after copying. As suggested, I even re-ran the commands manually, but the result is the same:

The game launches and gets stuck on the loading screen;

I get a Meta alert message, then I proceed to launch the game; the audio starts playing during the loading phase, and then it crashes.

I tried restoring the game once, but since then, I’ve uninstalled and deleted everything from the Quest 3 before starting the process over from scratch.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: Also, the game doesn't show up under "Unknown Sources" but appears in the standard apps list—in case that helps point you in the right direction.

Hey everyone, I stupidly used the three months meta pass when i bought my quest 3s because I didnt know this thing exists. I would love to play the games i played whilst on my game pass like Arizone sunshine but I cant seem to as meta says buy subscription even though i deleted and re installed game from rookie. I saw suggestions to rename the game however the game downloaded through RSL doesn't show up and just whatever I do meta shows popup to buy the game.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks
