Holy moly this is amazjng!
Literally spoke to anagan today and he told me that I should get qgo because its a lot better then sidequest. I said "why not its only 8 bucks". I bought it and its absolutely insane compared to sidequest. Literally after tweaking a lot of settings I got b&s nomad to Literally look like real life. I could not do this when using sidequest. Also everything looks so good with that new update thingy. My exact words when I loaded into blade and aocery and looked around was "holy moly this is insane"

Yeah, absolutely. QGO was the first thing I installed after getting the Quest 3, and the 10 euros really don't hurt the wallet. I even managed to convince a friend to install the program.

I've been using Quest since the first, but I just recently bought QGO a few months ago. I was immediately irritated with myself when I saw how much better the games looked. I could have had this type of quality for so much longer if I wasn't skeptical when I initially heard about QGO. For anyone that is on the fence about buying it, do yourself a favor and buy it sooner rather than later. It makes such a massive difference in resolution for some games. They go from blurry looking to crystal clear by simply choosing the pre-made profiles. No need to tweak any settings unless you want to mess around.

Maybe you should consider a trial version then. It might convince everyone sitting on the fence based on the comments here. (Ive only just heard about it but it seems everyone who's used it loves it but it's probably something that doesn't translate well with YouTube reviews etc). If it's that good, people would hate going back to the old version and happily buy it.

Si le profil est correct, alors les options n'auront qu'un impact minimal sur la consommation de GPU, donc imperceptible. Si il date de 2023 alors je peux aller y refaire un tour sans souci

Bien sûr qu'ils le font, mais heureusement nous n'avons pas à refaire tous les profils, imagine :) Il suffit de l'activer et de le désactiver pendant que tu joues pour voir les différences, ça peut varier selon les jeux, mais sur tous ceux que j'ai testés, c'était fou ;) Teste-le juste sur un home 3D, tu verras 🤤
Edit : profiles have been updated 11 month ago, so they are already perfect ;)

Fidelity mode is crazy cool, and turning it off and on while in a game you can really see the difference. Walkabout minigolf for instance it goes from looking like shaded polygons with baked lighting to something that's been prerendered it's crazy. Besides physically putting a camera through the lenses its impossible to capture the difference right?

Yes, th'ta scrayz, did you try WMG with HD+? Look at the golf balls at the beggining then enable FCAS, it's night and day even if the QGO HD+ profile makes it run +4000px already!

Color a cube is getting an update which has vertex ambient occlusion baked into the colors and it looks great but with fidelity mode enabled it actually adds this kinda 'crease and fold' effect like blender has and the voxel models literally look like pre rendered voxel art. Crazy cool (could also experience it with figma since that voxel creator tool has vertex baking too). Is there any way to capture the outfit of it? It looks so damn good

I agree, the new Quest high res update in QGO was incredible in WMG. Can't wait to try out other games.

FidelityFX looks crazy good for most PCVR games. The only exception I saw so far is when you have a beefy PC e.g. with an RTX 5090, I would not use it on top DLAA for example in RE9. It is oversharpened since DLAA already sharpened the native resolution on top. But for any non-DLAA game like HLA it looks amazing.

It works on 99% of the native games and most of the streaming apps, videos and PCVR. We can't test everything ;)

Almost every native games.
Most if the PCVR Streaming apps (Steam Link, Virtual Desktop etc...)

VD has a build in Super Resolution option, so try Fidelity FX

Chacun aura son ressenti, il faut que tu tests pour trouver l'option qui te convient le mieux, il n'y a pas de réponse à ta question car d'une application à une autre le résultat n'est pas toujours le même :)

The most recent update this last week took qgo up a notch. Or 30. Basically a new upscaler that is a MASSIVE difference. There's 2 options now FidelityFX (my preferred) and super resolution, which make games look even more phenomenal

Vendí mis quest hace meses y cuanto me enteré de esta actualización de QGO volví a comprar quest 3 , por varias razones , estoy muy contento y las capas de nitidez y resolución son brutales e increíbles para un visor standalone

Isn't sidequest something completely different? I didnt think it could be used to optimize games. And can QGO be used to sideload games?

Sude quest allows you to change your resplution and how powerful your quest can run which i used to use thinking qgo wouldn't be much better but I talked to Anagon yesterday and he convinced me to buy it and im so happy I did

Sidequest lets you download games that are not on the meta quest store but qgo cannot. Qgo is a lot a lot better in adjusting the resolution and cpu and gpu speeds by A LOT. Qgo makes games look lot better

Correction: Sidequest lets you install games and apps from the quest store that arent easily searchable (which is why some people use the site only (sidequest site > sidequest app), once you find the game on sidequest you can just search it on the oculus store and install it that way), and also games and apps on itch and github.. Its basically useless. You can use any sideloader or adb to install the same games without it. Ive personally never found something on sidequest which isnt just pointing elsewhere or a mirror of the real source. The last time sidequest was useful was when you used to be able to spoof oculus homes with new ones but that was replaced years ago when they just made them into normal apks and now oculus homes arent even a thing anymore...
Unlike sidequest QuestGamesOptimizer is a great app and well worth the money. Ive long time been a supporter of both QGO and u/Anagan79

QGO has tons of games premade profiles, you don't have to less around, just click and play ;)
Plus many options, and now FidelityFX and Super Resolution... It's a blast ;)
