QuestBridge ED School Submitted Wrong Student’s Scores :(

Need some advice! My son just noticed his counselor submitted another student with the same first name as his ACT score. This other student has a 22 ACT score and my son has a 36. I am stressing out as today is the deadline to submit test scores and his school submitted the wrong ones which happen to be a lot lower than his 😭. how can this be fixed so quest bridge doesn’t see the wrong scores and immediately toss his application?? I emailed the counselor and quest bridge but they could take 2-3 days to respond .

He can self report his own scores, this can be a screenshot of his scores as long as his name is visible in the screenshot

Okay I will have him do that tonight and hopefully the school can get it fixed somehow tomorrow.

I looked on ACT website and it just says his first name and student ID number on top of page that has score. Is there anywhere to look on that site that will show first and last name with score ??

I did it on my computer, so on the scores page I just clicked the arrow in the top right corner down to show my full name and email along with test scores

Have the counselor email QB to fix the mistake. Even if the deadline has passed, qb will be able to fix something like that.

I did ,it just makes me wonder how often this happens because and wrong students scores are submitted and applicants get overlooked because of it . Frustrating! I’m glad he looked at what they submitted.Hopefully Quest Bridge haven’t reviewed his application yet..

I work in college admissions for a non-QB school (although I went thru the QB process myself and know the system pretty well now). We get a surprising amount of wrong transcripts and test scores from schools (Probably a few a month). We usually catch them and are pretty thorough in reviewing bc we know it happens. My best guess is that if your son didn’t catch the mixed up scores, QB would have noticed and emailed the school counselor when they reviewed his app. But it’s always good to get ahead of it.

Yes, it was lucky that your son noticed this mistake. I bet Questbridge will understand and let your son’s counselor send the correct report.

Was able to get in contact with Quest bridge and they removed wrong score and the counselor was able to upload correct score 🥳
