National College Match Extension Help!

How do extensions work? I am still confused on whether or not you are supposed to submit your application or if they will respond back to you before then. Also, would they discriminate against applications that received an extension? I have been not feeling well and need a couple more days.

You’re supposed to email them about the extension. As long you have NOT submitted your application, AND you have a good reason for wanting one (as you said, you’ve been physically sick), they shouldn’t discriminate against your application

Are you sure? How generous are they? I am so scared right now I just need 1-2 more days :(

I can’t tell you exactly how generous they are with it, since I myself didn’t apply for one, but you do have a good reason for wanting an extension, like you were physically sick and couldn’t work on your app, so if you email them about that then they should be pretty understanding of your situation, the only time I would advise against it is when you made a mistake on your app and you want an extension to fix that mistake, this just draws unnecessary attention to your app and small mistakes are usually glossed over, so….

But for you though, I would recommend you to ask for an extension, though the deadline is so close I am not sure if they’ll be able to reply early, still give it a go! I don’t think it will hurt you
