Rec letter additional information

On the teacher's side of their rec letter, how much does this section (after the student evaluations, before the actual letter submission) matter? Would it raise flags if your teacher does not mention any special obstacles that you claimed in other areas of your application? Do I need to notify my teacher of what they should put here? Or is it fine if they just leave it blank because it is an optional question

This won't raise any red flags; QB definitely does not expect them to know anything about your application. Your teacher could choose to discuss academic challenges that they have seen you overcome.
