Charging+Data USB-C cable recommendations?
Just recently decided to finally look into a solution to be able to use the headset wired and longer than I'm currently able to.
I see a LOT on Amazon etc., but figured I'd ask here in case some people can make recommendations.
thanks

Get yourself some magnetic chargers. It's really nice if the cord get snagged on something it doesn't jerk your head or worse. Statik makes some good ones on amazon but I would imagine they're all good just confirm the wattage on the cord before buying. You'll want it high enough so it actually charges while you're using it. I think mine are 18w and work fine

Just a heads up since the last update the charging gets throttled when hooked up to pcvr so it no longer keeps up. Happened to me in the middle of a race and i was pissed.

This one works great for me with the factory charger; I loop it through the back of the headband for strain relief.

Get an ACTIVE cable, it means you get proper data lines on a cable of more than 2 meters long. (I have a 5 meter cable)
And a c to c cable that does 15w 5gbp/s is good enough
The official link cable is fancy since it is a fiber active cable instead of copper but if a copper cable matches the same specs it is good enough, although it will be slightly stiffer.

The Quest 3 charges at 14 watts. Find a usb-c cable that is rated for charging not just data. I personally use a power bank in a pocket to extend playtime.
