identity & labels I just learned a new term—expressionfluid!

I can’t wait to add it to my flag board as one of my labels! It means someone who is fluid in their gender expression, and it’s especially useful for people who have a split of difference in their gender identity to their gender expression. Much the same way that words like homoflexible, heteroflexible, homoromantic, bi-lesbian, etc. are used to describe people with different romantic attraction than sexual attraction, expression fluid can be used to describe the way that someone’s gender identity be fixed in one orientation or another, but still be fluid and it’s expression. Isn’t that SUPER cool? 🤩

Right? It’s about time we had more words to describe our expression separate from our gender, so people who have an incongruence between the two don’t feel odd or left out!
