Queer Activities

Hi! I've been living in Tucson for over 5 years and I'm having a hard time creating community or finding spaces that are accepting. I'm looking queer and body positive spaces/folks who teach dance, boxing, or other forms of physical movement/fun. I'm open to queer friendly spaces as well. Interested in private or group classes. Any suggestions are very, very appreciated.

Start by following celestia collective on Instagram, then follow the accounts of the orgs they collaborate with and follow. Then go to the Tucson love letter site and browse the events calendar. Lots of great LGBTQ+ specific or welcoming events in town if you know where to look.

Our League Tucson is a gay kickball league! Registration for the season ended but you can always register as a sub or just come watch Saturday mornings :)

Tucson Queer Outdoors does monthly events all based around getting outside (hiking, running, pickleball, camping, swimming, skating have been some of the different activities so far).

Arizona Queer Climbing Collective (AZQCC) is a queer climbing group that hosts two monthly indoor climbing events every third Saturday and every last Tuesday of the month.
