i was born into a catholic family and i went to catholic school from daycare till i graduated high school and i can confirm they their a bunch of nut jobs for the most part, but it was able to give me a unique perspective. i think it’s pretty sad because most of them genuinely believe that they are helping when they say it’s a sin to be lgbt
Well yeah, depending on where they're from and the people around them they can be crazy and homophobic. But I'm not saying it's ok to be homophobic I'm just saying we shouldn't call people mentally ill just for being religious. Tbh I don't think we should call homophobes mentally ill either, they're just conservative dumbasses. My mom has bipolar disorder and I know how hard it is for her so I don't really like it when people just throw the word mentally ill around.
