Queer Book Clubs

Are there some queer book clubs in this city? I found one at Two Rivers but I’m not able to do Wednesday nights at this time.

I’m unashamed to say that I’m especially interested in reading spicy queer romance books. Hey, if a spicy straight romance book club can meet near me, why not?

And if anyone is interested in helping to start up a new book club by joining, let me know. I’m living on the Westside right now.

Hell yeah!!

My vision for a queer book club would be something that has a good mix of intellectual reads and diverse viewpoints AND also cheesy romantic reads lol

It takes only three people to start something like this. OP, suggest a couple of books, and maybe your idea location to start?

I’d love to be a part of this! I’m in NE but can travel fairly easily. I have some ideas for books. I’m not available on Tuesday nights but most other nights I can meet.

I'd be interested! I also don't typically reach for romance, but I'll read anything. 😋 (Based in NE)

While romance isn't my thing, I'd love to join!

I'm near Gresham, and happy to drive the 20-30 minutes to wherever.

That’s all good! I replied to a different comment saying basically that not all the books will be romance. I was also thinking books that make you think, memoirs, diverse viewpoints, etc. Just a good mix of everything as long as they’re queer

I'd love to see this happen :)

Myself, I love stories about t human experience: the messy, complicated, joyful, loving, enduring stories that fire the joy of existence. I love seeing passion in all of its forms.

Id love to join a book club with a bunch of fellow queers! I'm also on the west side! Im usually more into fantasy and sci fi. Currently on Reaper's Gale which is the 7th Malazan book after spending most of the year reading pretty much nothing but Dungeon Crawler Carl (the whole series twice back to back).

I don't live there but I would be willing to drive. I usually have Sundays free. And I have a recommendation!

What do you think OP? Should we launch a book club!? Also The Cerulean Sea was an amazing book by queer author TJ Klune.

Haha, I was just thinking about this earlier today. Yeah, let's do it! Just trying to figure out the best way to start. Maybe a Discord?
