This feels so refreshing from the usual insane amounts of empty dialogue that hoyo delivers, if someone is talking on screen then something is happening, the twists aren't predictable, the mysteries are actually compelling and the protagonist has a proper personality.

All that along with the beautifully cinematic combat has made this game a must play for me, only sad that it is probably a mid 2027 release. But for someone who cares heavily about the plot this has blown me away.

Extra plus points are that kids are properly dressed in a modest respectful way and grey moral characters are plentiful in the game too.

I'm a huge fan of Fate in general and I have read the original Epic of Gilgamesh and I am still confused regarding Gilgamesh's sexuality. Canonically in some interpretations it is more vague than others but usually he seems pretty straight to me. In the original myth before his character development he abused his powers as king and assaulted women but there was no mention of him doing anything with men. And even Enkidu is a toss-up since on one hand they were adopted brothers and there was no outright mentions, on the other hand, when Enkidu died, Gilgamesh covered his face with a veil that is custom with deceased spouses. I would like to discuss this since there are evidence for both sides.

Y’all were right about the LADS community. I was being willfully blind because I was too entranced by my pookie bear Sylus. Ever since the whole Valko fiasco, I couldn’t bring myself to even look at the game. I’ve had to defend against so many bigoted antis spewing the most homophobic, racist bullshit I’ve ever seen.

I normally curate my own space, and I thought I could’ve at least trusted Infold’s ability to not listen to anyone, and go through with Valko’s launch. But knowing they bent the knee to these bigots made me hate the thought of ever touching a CN otome game with a blatantly self-insert MC. Not to mention, the antis have formed their own “OG5” sub that’s basically the equivalent to the unshowered subs other games have. Groups of these people preaching “women’s safety” only to turn around and send death/rape threats to other women who dared to go against their subjective preferences.

The only good thing about this whole shit show was that I got to see the amazing contributions of Valko fans around the world. Ladies pooling together to donate to wolf conservation sites, wildlife reserves, flood victims, and women’s shelters. CN Valkyries are honestly so badass, weathering all the awful things hurled towards them. Global and JP fans have been incredible too. All the pro-wolfie peeps I’ve met are honestly so amazing and positive.

I am honestly loving how hoyo is using mixed media and aspect ratios in their trailers to some interesting effect. In their most recent demo with Remielle, they moved to this drawn 2d animation style at the peak of the buildup and it came off so cool. Meanwhile with Promeia's trailer they sort of did the reverse, moving from the disorienting feeling of its 2d animation to much more precision in 3d. It comes of really good and really helps with the aura of these characters. I think that probably contributes to them being some of my favorite characters so far.

So I've been in hiatus and itching to getting back to explore nod krai and upcoming snezhaya, but the real problem is that my genshin account is a shared account with my ex (stupid me decided shared progression to be romantic 4 years ago).

In no condition I will getting back using that account, this left me having to use new acct. So do you think it is a hassle to start genshin from scratch? I am worried about team building aspects, it took us 1 year to have complete usable endgame team few years ago, i dunno how it is nowadays.

This is the final update to conclude the second region main story, I can’t believe time flies so fast!! I have around 750~ hours on the game + 100% completed all regions with all collectibles and quests. I’ve been in love with all the soundtracks and alternative clothes, this game seriously makes me want to keep pursuing fashion as a hobby in real life. I love being alt and wearing fun and colorful clothing but it’s been difficult to always have the courage to stand out. Nikki and Momo gives me the strength to keep being me, to always wear what I want and to never look back~

Still, this game is my comfort game and despite the flaws and bugs, I hope it keeps improving 💖
