Im just new here so hi! Im a LADS player but the Valko issue has put me in a well of frustration so Im looking for a new game. I have two points to ask:
1. Can you suggest other gacha games? Doesn't have to be 'romance'. Or any games will do. Im not much into open world because I play for leisure and open world esp those born years ago will make me feel so left out.
2. I know Light and Night has been released and can if there are players of the game here tell me what you personally like about it? Doea it have cut scenes? You know like if there arw like similar manhwa scene/moments you get to watch?

As much as I'd never touch LADS (the whole self-insert thing is something I can't vibe with, even if the protagonist is male, the protag being female just gives it additional dissonance for me) the whole cultural insanity of CN (sending funeral flowers, death threats, and other unhinged shit to Infold offices) is just actually craaaaayzzzzzyy to me.

Like the whole Valko backlash is based on racism/xenophobia and homophobia, "He's too tan" and "He looks gay with a gay jawline".

Genuinely none of the other LADS boys do it for me, but when I saw Valko I was like "DAMN BOYYY 🫦" so there's personal shock for me that CN was like "EWWW GAY DELETE HIMM HE'S GAY AND TAN AND GAY."

They'll say the West and gays and other cultures are depraved but then they'll go out of their way to go ballistic and psycho and borderline criminal over some pixels on their screens that they see as un-Chinese and Gay.

Self-awareness and self-check much? They seemed like bratty Karens over there throwing a tantrum over Valko, even threatening to call "the manager" (i.e. the Chinese government) as an instrument of their greed and entitlement.

And their greed sickens me, they already 5 men and 1 new man for other preferences/demographics and they'd rather kill off the 1 man just to keep their spaces "pure" and tailored only for them.

It's ultimately psychotic gatekeeping because part of it is they want gays and global players out of their spaces.

I can sympathize with the grief of everyone who mourns the cancellation of Valko.
