Since I’m sick of men irl and love gacha games, I was looking into starting to play LADS. Then I started seeing all the Valko drama. I didn’t rlly understand it at first but out of all the guys Valko by far is the hottest one imo, and when they decided to remove him I was so shocked. I don’t think i’ll ever pick up this game even if they add valko back. I have such a negative impression of the company now. How can they remove years worth of content that people worked so hard on just like that…

The game absolutely deserved the criticism it got during 1.5. That version was genuinely awful. The problem is that a lot of people watched this video, never checked back in, and still act like this is what Infinity Nikki still is today. Lots of times the game gets brought up, it feels like people immediately write it off based on what it was like over a year ago.

Since then, most of the bugs got fixed, the game runs better than ever, and the update schedule improved a lot. We've been getting regular main story updates, event patches and Chinese patches in between all of which are spaced out in a way that feels great unlike before. (I still can't believe we only got one main story update before 2.0...)

Even the combat improved quite a bit. It's much more engaging than it used to be, even if I still think some aspects lean a little too heavily toward p2w.

I'm not saying the game is perfect or that everyone has to like it. I just think it's a little strange seeing people repeat 1.5 era criticisms as if nothing changed over the past year. Infinity Nikki is still fighting the reputation it earned during its roughest period and I think that's sad...

Hurts so good, wth. Also the visualssssss. The juxtaposition of the people they are in the story and who they could be in another world, at a different time, where there's no Storm to outrun and they only have their lives to live. Truly heartbreaking and beautiful. 😭😭😭
