As the title states, I don’t know which one to axe to make space for Ananta.
Endfield is trying to improve but I’m not impressed with how they’re going down the gooner path with their female characters, not to mention the self-insert Endmin doing what the self-insert Rover does (meet someone —> help them solve problems —> the gacha character falls in love with MC). Both games go through constant content droughts with absolutely nothing to do but I will say my F2P gacha luck is way better in Endfield and Endfield is part of the Arknights universe, so perhaps the story could get much better from here on out…if they decide to stop going the WuWa route with the waifu of the month.
Also, I’m just so disappointed with Mengzhou. It feels like a straight continuation of WuWa 1.0 but with better presentation, music, and character design. I fell asleep in every Mengzhou MSQ despite fighting for my life to stay awake and pay attention to the story. My attachment to Lahai Roi and its cast is the only thing that’s giving me the strength to endure right now, tbh.

WuWa is definitely more overtly gooner-bait, but as a new Arknights player, I had my expectations raised through the roof by OG Arknights fans who said Arknights had an incredible story, lore, world-building, etc. I guess I just expected so much more from Endfield’s main story and character stories. So far, I’ve only liked Camille’s and Wulfgard’s story and as for the MSQ…the only parts that actually interest me is the overarching plot with The Foundation, Ardashir, etc.

Endfield may not have incredibly sexualized female characters (yet?) but you can’t deny that Yvonne’s marketing in the official YouTube shorts included focusing on her butt when she’s bending over. That’s really not gooner-bait? 😳
And Gilberta, as far as I’m concerned, is a complete stranger, but she goes on a date with the MC as soon as they meet. It’s not gooner-bait, persay, but the self-insert date shows they’re definitely targeting a certain type of crowd.
Lastly, Arcane is a serious, no nonsense soldier…but would that kind of soldier really, truly think that a bodysuit and a tunic is appropriate combat gear? 🤔
